Privacy Policy
Mathioware is a fast-paced math game that uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to sign players in, restore progress, and store leaderboard results. This page summarizes the data the app collects and why it is used.
Data we collect
- Your provider account ID from Google or Apple.
- Your email address if your provider shares it.
- Your assigned in-game codename.
- Your best score and most recent score.
- Your leaderboard record if you hold the global best score.
Why we collect it
- To authenticate your account.
- To restore your saved progress across sessions and supported platforms.
- To maintain the in-game leaderboard.
- To process account deletion and keep account-linked gameplay data consistent.
Where the data is stored
Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. Player profiles and leaderboard records are stored in Google Cloud Firestore.
Retention and deletion
Your player data remains stored until you delete your account through the in-app Settings screen or the service is discontinued. Deleting your account removes the stored player profile and anonymizes any leaderboard ownership record tied to that account.
Data sharing
Mathioware does not sell personal data. Data is processed through the third-party services required to operate authentication and cloud save functionality.
